Stop Press

Week Commencing 26th July 2021.  The practice is operating an emergency service only due to low staffing levels.  We would urge patients not to contact or attend the practice unless you have a genuine medical emergency.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and appreciate your co-operation while we navigate the practice with minimal staff.

NEW Mental Health Practicioners have joined our practice

From 22nd March 2021, two new Senior Mental Health Practitioners (Maria Watters & Annemarie Jackson) will be joing our team and offering consultations to our patients.  Please ask our reception staff / care navigators for further details?

COVID-19 Vaccinations

The practice is currently hosting 2nd dose vaccination clinics on Thursday and Friday afternoons. On these days the practice will be operating an emergency only service and we apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause.

Vaccination is the most important thing you can do to protect your community against serious illnesses.  When enough people get vaccinated, it’s harder for a disease to spread to those who can’t have vaccines.

We know many people are interested in the COVID-19 vaccination and we urge you not to contact the practice and to follow the link below to book a vaccination online.

An online booking form for COVID-19 vaccinations to be given outside the practice (multiple sites) has now been set up.  At present all adults age 18 years or older can book a vaccination appointment online.  You will need your H&C number which can be found on your medical card and other clincial documents eg: hospital letters.  If you do not have access to your H&C number, click any of the following links for instructions on how to obtain it:

If you do not have access to the internet you can telephone 0300 200 7813.

Some local pharmacies are also offering the vaccination to those age 40 years and over.  Check this map to see what pharmacies in your area are offering the vaccine?

Community transport is available with free wheelchair friendly and covid safe transport to and from your vaccination appointment.  To book transport please telephone 028 302 65635 or email bg.nmct@gmail.com

From 06.05.2021 the vaccine will be available to household contacts of severely immunocompromised or clinically extremely vulnerable patients.  This can be booked online (refer to online booking form above).  The original shielding letter will be needed as proof of entitlement and the addresses of the patient and the household contact much match.
