Pharmacy Prescription Service

The Pharmacy Prescription Service is a service where we send paper prescriptions to a dispenser (such as a pharmacy) of the patient's choice. This makes the prescribing and dispensing process more efficient and convenient for patients and staff.

Start using the Pharmacy Prescription Service

To start using the Pharmacy Prescription Service please complete a nomination slip available from our reception. Nomination means you choose a place for your GP practice to send your prescription to. 

You can change your nomination or cancel it and return to picking up paper prescriptions at any point. If you want to change or cancel your nomination speak to our reception.

Benefits

If you collect repeat prescriptions you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription. Instead, your GP will send the prescription directly to the place you choose, saving you time.
